ABOUT
Go Dubris, previously called DBLTrading, is a privately owned Community Interest Company set up in December 2018, initially to manage a project in Dover supporting business start-ups. It grew out of the work undertaken by Dover Big Local, a National Community Fund (Lottery) funded initiative aimed at making Dover a better place in which to live, work, play and visit.
Certain operational restrictions exist on an unincorporated, albeit constituted organisation such as Dover Big Local, resulting in difficulties managing day to day tasks that require formal contractual arrangements, hence the birth of DBL Trading, now incorporated and operating as GoDubris CIC.

Seven years designing and implementing community projects aimed at making Dover a better place
Following a change in personal circumstances, moved to Dover some fifteen years ago and became involved in Community projects, drawing on a lifetime’s experience of dealing with people of different cultures, expectations and aspirations.
Projects have seen the setting up of Destination Dover and DBL Trading in order to implement plans to improve the economy of the town by harnessing and focusing the tourism potential and providing a minimum risk environment for business start-ups as well as projects associated with the river to improve amenity and learning.
A professional Chartered Civil Engineer with a career spanning over 50 years in construction and project management of international infrastructure projects.
A Dover resident and over the course of a long career, the owner and manager of a number of retail and service sector businesses.
Working with the Co-Innovation Project since 2018, her enthusiasm to help small businesses has seen many develop into organisations that now contribute to retail life in the town centre.
Life and Business experience has helped GoDubris adapt to changing circumstances in the town, so our Company remains at the forefront in its Community work.
